Lipidus said he can help with the bomb. He made plans but was distracted but concentrated again. He then worsened the bomb and says he doesn't know anything about defusing bombs after all. Then, he asked if anyone has a Plan B. He was killed in the explosion shortly after. He flew the only survivors of Jurassic Park, John Hammond and Ian Malcolm home and asked if they had a tough time on the island. Then, he screamed in surprise when he realized a dinosaur had boarded their ship. He was killed in this incident.
