Hela (Alternate)
Hela

Hela Odinsdottir is the Goddess of Death and the main antagonist of Thor: Ragnarok.

Early Life[]

Hela was Odin Borson's firstborn daughter and served as his executioner and leader of the Einherjar. However, Odin began to realize that peace was the way to unite the Nine Realms and saw Hela's warmongering ways as a threat. Eventually, she grew so powerful that she decided to claim the throne. Dueling his daughter, Odin defeated Hela, imprisoned her in Hel for as long as he lived, and wiped out all traces of her existence in Asgard.

Centuries later, Hela sought an attempt at freedom, prompting Odin to send in the Valkyries to stop her. She massacred all but their leader, but Odin arrived and sealed her away once more.

How Thor: Ragnarok Should Have Ended[]

Hela is first seen entering Asgard as she kills Fandral and Volstagg. She then recruits Skurge and orders him to take Heimdall's sword.

During the final battle, Hela takes down the Statesman and overpowers Thor. Making matters worse, Loki takes off in the Grandmaster's orgy ship instead of summoning Surtur. At the Villain Pub, Loki and Hela recount the aftermath, but when Loki reveals the Tesseract, Thanos takes it and flirts with Hela.

In another take on the finale, Valkyrie subdues Hela with a taser.

In Norway, Hela destroys Mjolnir, but Doctor Strange arrives and sends her down a never-ending abyss.
