Erik "Killmonger" Stevens, born N'Jadaka, is a character from Marvel Comics and the main antagonist of Black Panther.
Early Life
Erik Stevens/N'Jadaka was an American citizen born to Prince N'Jobu of Wakanda and an American woman. He grew up in Oakland, California and was promised to visit Wakanda to see the sunsets by N'Jobu. However, N'Jobu's brother, King T'Chaka, learned of N'Jobu's treachery and one day confronted N'Jobu. When T'Chaka's confidant Zuri intervened, T'Chaka killed N'Jobu and fled the scene. However, Stevens soon discovered N'Jobu dead, and sought revenge. He joined the Navy SEALS where he became a ruthless killer known as Killmonger, racking up confirmed kills like a video game to claim the throne of Wakanda and finish what N'Jobu started.
