Helen Parr (née Truax), also known as Elastigirl and Mrs. Incredible, is a major character in the Disney/Pixar film The Incredibles and the protagonist of its sequel. She is Mr. Incredible's wife. Helen can stretch any part of her body up to 100’ (34 m) and can be 1 mm thin. She can also reshape her body in a variety of ways. In the movie she becomes a parachute and a rubber boat, and has used her arms for swings and a slingshot. In her early years she seemed to be a feminist and had no desire to "settle down". Since her marriage to Bob, Helen has become a dedicated spouse and mother, although she is frustrated with her husband's continuing dreams of glory. Helen is also an experienced jet pilot, from having a close friend who flew her around the world when she was a Super. Her sharp wit and superb espionage skills, as well as her experience as a superhero, make her an excellent tactician and leader. Her red superheroine suit, designed by Edna Mode, can stretch as far as she can and still retain its shape. It is virtually indestructible yet it breathes like Egyptian cotton.

In HISHE canon, Helen is a frequent guest at the Super Café.

History[]

Super Cafe: Swingers Tribute[]

Helen is first seen playing "baby games" at a booth close to Superman and Batman's. Superman believes she is flirting with him, but it turns out she was playing with Jack-Jack, much to Superman's disappointment. She picks Jack-Jack up and leaves the café to meet with Bob.

How The Incredibles Should Have Ended[]

Helen appears at the end of the short and approaches Bob as he finishes his story. She notices Superman, noting he looks familiar, but he visibly panics, claiming that this is the first time they have met.

How Incredibles 2 Should Have Ended[]

Helen is first seen catching up to the monorail on her Elasticycle. She is about to stop it, but Spider-Man ends up stealing the act from her.

Later, a brainwashed Helen is present on the Everjust when Dash arrives and uses his super speed to remove the goggles, much to Evelyn Deavor's frustration. At the Super Café, Dash and Violet explain that Helen is on a "date" with Bob where they fight crime together.
